Job summary

Pertemps is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist – Turning in Manchester/Irlam. You will program, set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, reading drawings and GD&T to manufacture precise components.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years post-apprenticeship CNC turning experience, strong tooling knowledge, and the ability to edit ISO turning programs while maintaining quality records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-year engineering/CNC apprenticeship + 3+ years CNC experience
• 6+ years CNC turning experience acceptable
• Strong experience in CNC turning and Fanuc controls

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC turning machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Edit and prove ISO turning programs and select tooling
• Record production and quality data in SAP
• Maintain machine health and safety procedures
