Job summary

SUPREME RECRUITMENT SERVICES LIMITED is supporting a high-precision engineering company based in Earlswood, Warwickshire, to hire 2 CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator on a days shift. You will program, set and operate Doosan Puma CNC turning centres to produce tight-tolerance components for demanding motorsport applications.

Salary £35,000–£45,000 DOE with overtime. This permanent, full-time role offers flexible start/finish times, excellent overtime opportunities, a company pension

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience operating CNC turning machinery in high-precision manufacturing.
• Strong CNC programming, setting and operating skills are required.
• Good knowledge of FANUC and HEIDENHAIN controls is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate 2/3-axis CNC turning machinery, including Doosan Puma turning centres.
• Work with FANUC and HEIDENHAIN controls.
• Manufacture complex, high-precision components to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling and machining processes.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain exceptionally high standards of accuracy, quality and cleanliness.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and contribute to efficient machine utilisation.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You

We are looking for an experienced CNC professional who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision-engineered components. You will ideally have:

• At least 2 years' experience operating CNC turning machinery within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with CNC programming, setting and operating.
• Good knowledge of FANUC and HEIDENHAIN controls.
• Experience working with 2/3-axis CNC lathes/turning centres.
• Experience working to tight tolerances across a range of materials.
• The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical and machining knowledge.
• Good understanding of tooling, cutting parameters and machining processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality-focused approach.
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Good knowledge and safe use of hand tools and workshop equipment.
