Job summary

A leading company in manufacturing is seeking a CNC Turner Setter Operator in Great Malvern. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathe machines to high standards and tight tolerances. Applicants should have experience with Fanuc controls and knowledge of engineering drawings. This role offers a structured work week of 37 hours, Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls
• Programming from print drawings
• Work to high standards on tight tolerances
• Adhere to quality standards and check work using various instruments
• Work alternative shifts/hours as required
• Perform other duties/projects as directed by management

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with CNC Machines with Fanuc controls
• Knowledge of component dimensions using inspection equipment such as Micrometers, Verniers, and Plug Gauges
• Understanding of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings
• Ability to produce components to drawing tolerances and specifications accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role

Hours of Work, Remuneration & Benefits:

37 hours/week, Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday
