THE RECRUITMENT FIX LIMITED is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to program, set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. The role is based in Rochdale, offering a permanent position with a 39-hour week plus overtime.

You will work with steel, aluminium and plastics, perform tool handling and routine maintenance, and carry out quality checks to ensure precision. This role requires careful attention to detail, reliability and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a busy engineering

Qualifications

Experienced CNC Machinist
Excellent timekeeper
Can-do attitude with a pro-active approach
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment
Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the job requirements
Ability to work overtime when required based on workload

Responsibilities

Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes that have Fanuc operating systems with a proven track record.
Work with all types of materials, including steel, aluminium, plastics, and other materials.
Work with all types of tools, including drills, grinders, and sanders.
Perform routine maintenance on machine equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
Perform quality control checks on parts produced by the machine.
Maintain work area to ensure it is clean and organised.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures established by the company or organisation or employer.
