Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd in Oldham is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer with extensive Fanuc experience to join our client, a leader in large precision-machined components. You will program, set and operate CNC turning machines, machine large components, read drawings and check parts to tight tolerances, while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC turning.
• Strong programming skills using Fanuc controls.
• Experience machining large, heavy components.
• Fully competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Able to work to tight tolerances.
• Self-motivated with good communication and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Working on large components using horizontal and vertical turning centres.
• Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Using CAD/CAM systems (available for the right candidate).
• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
• Meeting production deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer – Fanuc (Large Components)

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Oldham

Shift: 37.5 Hours per week

• Rotating 3-shift pattern:
• 6am – 2pm Monday – Friday
• 2pm – 10pm Monday – Friday
• 10pm – 6am Monday – Friday

Salary: From £17.16ph + 35% Shift Allowance

Bonus: An extra £1.50ph for running two machines
