CNC Turner - Night Shift
Location:Andover
Salary: £30,000- £40,000 + 30% Shift Premium(DOE)
Hours: Mon - Wed 4.15pm-4.30am Thurs 4.15pm - 9pm
Overtime: Available

The Role
In this position, youll programme, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls, manufacturing precision parts from a variety of materials to tight tolerances.

Youll be an important part of a skilled team, contributing to a wide range of challenging and rewarding projects.
Responsibilities

- Programme, set, and operate CNC turning machines (Fanuc).
- Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and set appropriate tooling and work-holding devices.
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
- Proficient in Fanuc programming (essential).
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
- Experience machining a range of materials including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
- Solid understanding of tooling selection and machining principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work to tight tolerances.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (advantageous).
