Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Turner (Medical) in Coventry. The role involves programming, setting and operating Hurco machines, reading drawings and CAD models, and working with materials such as plastic, aluminium, steel and titanium.

Typical hours are 7:45am–4:45pm from Monday to Thursday, with Friday 7:45am–1:00pm. Optional overtime increases earnings, and training with progression opportunities is provided to support career development.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC turning and Hurco controls.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of materials such as steel, titanium and plastics is advantageous.

£20 – £24 Hourly Rate + Overtime (OTE £60k+) + Progression + Training + Early Friday Finish

Are you a CNC Turner, looking to join a stable company that will look after you and value your work, offering an early finish on a Friday and ample overtime to significantly boost your earnings?

In this role you will be responsible programming, setting and operating Hurco CNC machines as well as reading drawings and CAD models. You will be working with materials such as steel, titanium and plastic at 3-axis to 5-axis.

Established in 2017, this growing company are looking to expand their workforce by 20% within the next year. Supplying into the medical industry, they are looking to expand their portfolio and client base through bringing in a Turner to expand their output.

This role would suit a CNC Turner who is looking to work optional overtime with an early finish on a Friday.

The Role:

• Programming, setting and operating Hurco machines
• Working with plastic, aluminium, steel and titanium
• Reading drawings and CAD models
• Monday to Thursday, 7:45am – 4:45pm and Friday 7:45am – 1:00pm
• Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
