Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Turner (Medical) in Coventry. The role involves programming, setting and operating Hurco machines, reading drawings and CAD models, and working with materials such as plastic, aluminium, steel and titanium.

Typical hours are 7:45am–4:45pm from Monday to Thursday, with Friday 7:45am–1:00pm. Optional overtime increases earnings, and training with progression opportunities is provided to support career development.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC turning and Hurco controls.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of materials such as steel, titanium and plastics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating Hurco machines.
• Reading drawings and CAD models.
• Working with materials including plastic, aluminium, steel and titanium.
• Shift pattern: Mon-Thu 7:45am–4:45pm, Fri 7:45am–1:00pm; optional overtime (1.5x).
