Job summary

Optical Precision in St Albans is hiring a CNC Turner, Setter, Operator for Fanuc CNC lathes. You will load, set up and operate machining equipment to produce precision parts, ensuring quality and safety. Overtime is available and benefits are provided.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar environment, plus live within 30 miles of the facility. 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a similar CNC turning role.
• Experience with setting and operating Fanuc lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Adherence to quality and safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Load, set up and operate a Fanuc CNC lathe to produce parts.
• Maintain quality standards and safety procedures; keep records.
• Set up tooling, offsets and programs as required.
• Troubleshoot and adjust processes to meet specs.
