Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is assisting a Northwich-based precision engineering client to recruit a Junior/ Trainee CNC Turner on days-based shifts. The role offers hands-on training with Fanuc controls, working from engineering drawings, and exposure to tooling and machining processes, with overtime opportunities and a potential annual bonus.

You will learn to set and operate lathes, gain knowledge on Fanuc systems, and work alongside a senior CNC Turner to build skills while maintaining

Are you aspiring CNC Machinist with some experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment wanting to kickstart your career in a well-established company, looking to develop your skills with hands-on training and optional overtime?

Established in 1974, this independent precision engineering specialist manufactures high-quality components for a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, robotics and pharmaceuticals. Due to an ever-increasing workload, they are looking to grow their friendly team.

In this role, you will receive training, learning to work with Fanuc controls under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will work from engineering drawings, learn about tooling and machining processes, and develop your skills in inspecting components to ensure they meet the required quality standards.

This role would suit anyone with a engineering background who is keen to learn, develop their technical abilities and build a long-term career in precision engineering, with the opportunity to increase their earnings through optional overtime.

The Role:

• Learn how to Set and Operate Lathes
• Gain knowledge on Fanac systems
• Work alongside a senior CNC Turner to grow and learn
• Working Monday - Thursday 8am - 5:00pm (Friday 8am - 1pm)
