Job summary

Joloda is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter for their site. The role requires time-served applicants with GCSE and City & Guilds/ONC qualifications and a minimum of 3 years in CNC turning. Experience with Haas or Citizen controls is advantageous.

The successful candidate will program, set and run CNC turning machines, interpret drawings, and ensure quality checks align with ISO standards. The job is full-time with-site work in the Liverpool/Speke area.

Qualifications

• Responsible for 1st off and inline checks against route cards and drawings to ISO 9001/ISO 14001.

Job description

Due to our Continued Success and an ever-increasing order book, we are looking to recruit, immediately an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to join our current team.

All applicants must be time served and should possess minimum GCSE and City and Guilds/ONC qualifications.

We are looking for a CNC Machinist with minimum 3 years experience within an engineering/manufacturing background who has a proven record of programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery. Preferably have experience with Haas & Citizen controls but not necessary.

Main Duties:

• Program, prove out and set and operate the CNC Turning Machines.
• Able to communicate professionally, have good housekeeping and H & S conscious
• Able to read/interpret engineering drawings
• Work to deadlines/priorities and the production plan, unsupervised and on own initiative, make improvement suggestions, push to be better every day.

Responsible for 1st off and sample inspection as well as inline checks of production runs against route cards and relevant drawings to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards

Pay:

From £37,440 per year - £43,700 dependent on experience and qualifications plus regular overtime in range £3,000 to £10,000 per year

Schedule:

Mainly fixed Late shift – Mon-Thu – 16:30-01:00, Fri 12:30 – 18:00

Weekend availability/Overtime

Experience:

• CNC Turning with Setting and Programming: 3+ years (required)
• Haas experience a distinct advantage.
• Experience of One CNC and CNC milling would also be useful.
