Job summary

GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Turner for our precision engineering client based in Leamington Spa. The role will setting and operating a range of CNC Turners including Doosan's and Lynx's.

The role involves setting and operating CNC turning machines, reading technical drawings and using measuring equipment. Working hours are 6.00am to 2.45pm Monday to Thursday, and 6.00am to 12.00pm Friday. This is a temporary to permanent position with immediate start and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• CNC Setting experience is essential.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Positive and pro-active approach.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Working on vertical and horizontal machines.
• Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality.
• Reading and using measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers and calipers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• CNC Setting experience is essential
• Ideally worked with CNC Turning machines but not essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
