Job summary

Optical Precision is seeking an experienced CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter to join their team in Richmond. You will write programs for Fanuc-controlled Doosan or Miyano Lathes, set and operate machines, and produce high-precision components for aerospace and general engineering, often in small batches.

The ideal candidate can read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and thrive in a precision manufacturing environment. This role offers dayshift hours with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Doosan or Miyano Lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Experience in high precision manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

The Role - CNC Turner - Fanuc

The company are looking for an experienced CNC Turner, programmer, setter, working on Fanuc controls to join their team. The right candidate will be writing programs at the machine working to engineering drawings to provide high precision one off and small batch work components.

Duties - CNC Turner - Fanuc

• Program, Set and operate CNC Doosan or Miyano Lathes using Fanuc controls
• Machine to tight tolerances
• One off's and small batch work
• Produce components from various aerospace & general engineering and exotic materials

Requirements - CNC Turner - Fanuc

• Must have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Doosan or Miyano Lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
