LOCATION: Milton Keynes

JOB DESCRIPTION: CNC Setter, Operator, Turner involved in machine tooling, CNC machining, and manufacturing processes.

40-hour working week (rotating double day shift):

• Week 1, 3 & 5 - Monday to Thursday 6:00 - 14:30 and Friday 6:00 - 12:00
• Week 2, 4 & 6 - Monday to Thursday 13:00 - 23:00

This is a hands-on role involving machine setup, reading drawings, adjusting equipment, and checking. You will work in a medium to high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating CNC lathes
• Maintaining product quality through first-offs and sample preparation
• Operating CNC and manual metrology equipment
• Ensuring on-time work schedule adherence
• Maintaining machinery condition through routine checks and cleaning
• Prioritizing personal and operational safety
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and efficiency

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Experience in CNC turning, setting, and operating machine tooling
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, Engineering, or related craft qualifications
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Responsibility-taking and initiative
