JOB DESCRIPTION: CNC Setter, Operator, Turner - Machine Tooling, CNC Machining, Manufacturing

Working Hours: 40-hour week (Rotating double day shift):

• Week 1, 3 & 5 - Monday to Thursday 6:00 - 14:30 and Friday 6:00 - 12:00
• Week 2, 4 & 6 - Monday to Thursday 13:00 - 23:00

This hands-on role involves setting up machines, reading drawings, and adjusting equipment while checking. You will work in a medium to high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating CNC Lathes
• Maintaining product quality through first-off and sample preparation
• Operating CNC and manual metrology equipment
• Ensuring on-time adherence to work schedules
• Maintaining machinery through routine checks and cleaning
• Prioritizing personal and operational safety
• Engaging in continuous improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Experience in CNC turning, setting, and operating machine tooling
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths, English, Engineering, or Craft qualification
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Proactive, responsible, and initiative-taking attitude
