Job description

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join our established team in Leatherhead. This role requires expertise in CNC programming and machining operations, with a focus on producing precise components according to drawing specifications. It offers an opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Program, set, and operate twin spindle multi-axis lathes, supporting R&D with prototyping and development.
2. Utilize AlphaCam software to develop and optimize multi-axis lathe programs.
3. Prove out programs and conduct first-off inspections.
4. Set up lathes, including loading materials, fixtures, and tools, and calibrate machine settings.

Experience & Skills:

• Knowledge of Fanuc control machines.
• Experience with database management software such as Cimco or its equivalents.
• Experience operating multi-axis CNC lathes with live tooling.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with Licom, AlphaCam, or similar software, and SolidWorks CAD software.
• Good understanding of manufacturing process improvements.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm (Flexible).
