Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / Setter Operator to join their skilled machine shop team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business that designs and manufactures high-precision equipment supplied to a range of advanced engineering industries worldwide.

The Role

Working within a highly skilled manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machinery to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards.

This is a hands-on machining role focused on setting and operating, rather than programming, offering excellent long‑term career prospects and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks.
• Maintain machinery, tooling and production records.
