Job Opportunity: CNC Turner

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our client’s dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in a high-quality, deadline-driven environment and possess a strong background in CNC machining.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathes to produce components according to precise specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings and machine programs (ISO and conversational)
• Conduct first-off inspections to ensure product quality
• Adjust offsets and tool coordinates to maintain accuracy
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery
• Support production by rotating between machines as needed
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Proven experience with CNC machinery
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Familiarity with various machine control systems
• Ability to anticipate and prevent machining issues
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work to deadlines without compromising standards
• Basic IT skills including Windows and MS Office
• Completion of a relevant craft apprenticeship and at least 5 years’ machining experience
• Additional education or certification in engineering or manufacturing
