Job Description
Location: Coventry
Salary: ?38,000 - ?40,000
Hours: Days based; Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30 - 12.30pm, Overtime x1.5 during weekdays and x2 on Sundays.
The client is a Tier 1 component supplier, specialising in machining and assembly for the power and off-highway industries. The company has a reputation for delivering solutions to a broad range of customers worldwide. Housed in a new, state-of-the-art facility, you will join a highly skilled engineering team producing complex components of various sizes.
Requirements include the ability to read drawings and customer standards, program and set CNC lathes with live tooling, and knowledge of Mazak/Mazatrol systems. Involvement in shopfloor process issues and process improvements is essential. Responsibilities also include ordering tools for NPI projects and liaising with customers.
Taking new projects through to first-off and proving machining processes.
