Job summary

• Qualified CNC Turner with experience programming in FANUC format.

Responsibilities

• Ensure productivity is high and output meets quality standards.
• Ensure material is correct and in line with schedules and supervisor directives.
• Record machining timings accurately and maintain safe working practices.
• Carry out machining accuracy checks and document results.
• When a machine runs a cycle longer than five minutes, trigger a second machining function.

Job description

JOB: CNC Turner (with programming knowledge on FANUC machines)

LOCATION: Bolton BL2

STATUS: Permanent

HOURS: Mon-Fri (days) but some flexibility of hours can be arranged to suit travel/personal circumstances

My client is seeking to employ a full-time CNC Turner who can modify and programme in FANUC format. Ideally, you will be a fully qualified Turner who takes pride in their finished product.

If you have the desire to move into more of a supervisory/managerial role - either now or in the near future - this is something that my client would be happy to discuss with you.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure that productivity is at the highest level and that the company is producing a quality product. You will ensure that material is complete and in line with schedules and supervisor directives.
• You will also ensure that job timings are recorded accurately and that safe working practices are in place for both yourself and your colleagues.
• You will ensure that machining accuracy and quality checks are all carried out and correctly recorded.
• Where a machine in running in excess of a five minute product cycle, you will ensure that there is a second machining function in operation.
