Magna International is seeking a skilled CNC Tech/process Engineer based in Telford, United Kingdom. This role demands expertise in machining aluminum diecast components on high-speed 5-axis machines. The engineer will be responsible for program proving, quality monitoring, and training staff on CNC operations.

This position requires a time-served CNC Tech/process Engineer with a proven track record and experience in machining aluminium diecast components on high‑speed 5‑axis machines. Reporting directly to the Assembly Engineering Manager, the CNC Tech/process Engineer must be able to work independently while liaising with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve any issues affecting CNC operation.
The CNC Tech/Process Engineer is responsible for proving new programs, commissioning new fixtures and cutting tools, monitoring part quality and dimensional reports to maintain optimum machining conditions, and training and developing setter/operators across the shift pattern. Performing machining troubleshooting and TPMs are also key tasks for this role, driving improvements on processes linked with CNC.
