Job summary

We are seeking a CNC Operator / Programmer in Coventry for a well-established, family-run precision engineering business. You will switch between turning and milling to produce complex, tight-tolerance parts from drawings on Haas machines.

The role suits hands-on CNC engineers from jobbing, toolroom or prototype backgrounds who enjoy a challenge and take pride in their work. You will be a valued team member in a close-knit company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC programming, setting and operating experience on turning and milling.
• Background in jobbing, toolroom, or prototype work rather than high-volume production.
• Passion for machining and enjoyment in solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines (Haas).
• Produce prototype and low-volume, high-precision components, including castings work.
• Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
• Problem-solve with the floor manager and the wider team to get jobs right first time.
