Job summary
Moog Inc. is seeking an apprentice-trained, experienced CNC Setter Operator (Mill/Turn) based onsite in Wolverhampton.
You will set up and operate multiple CNC machines, perform first-off inspections, and maintain strict quality records to support aerospace-grade components. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years in multi-axis/complex machining, strong tooling knowledge, and a track record of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate multiple CNC machines/processes.
- Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation.
- Capable of setting up and using machine tools.
- Carry out own first-off inspection and ensure quality documentation.
- Proven experience in a machine shop environment.
- Competent in using precision measurement equipment.
- 4-6 years experience on mill/turn CNC machines (Okuma, Mazak, Lathe, DMG, Matsura, Puma).
