Job description

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm and Friday, 2:00pm - 7:30pm

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a busy machine shop in Whitstable. This is a hands-on role focused on setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality components from bar stock, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes for small to medium batch production, carrying out inspections against engineering drawings, and ensuring all components meet required specifications. The role also includes machine maintenance checks, tool life monitoring, de-burring, final inspection, and completion of traceability documentation.

Key Responsibilities
