MTL Advanced in Rotherham is seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join our expanding manufacturing facility near Meadowhall. You will operate CNC machines, set up and load materials, monitor performance and ensure parts meet exact specifications.

The role requires interpreting technical drawings, using precision measurement tools, and maintaining high workmanship standards. Shift patterns: days, afternoons and nights with a substantial benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Setter/Operator.

Responsibilities

VACANCY: CNC Setter / Operator

LOCATION:Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)

PAY: £17.61 – £24.34 Depending on experience.

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday – Friday Rotating days 6am – 2pm, Afternoons 2pm – 10pm and Nights 10pm – 6am.

Working as part of a skilled team, our CNC Setters and Programmers machine critical components which are used on a variety of projects within our well-known sectors. You will possess high standards of workmanship in order to comply with internal and customer specifications. You will need to be self-motivated and determined with consistently high standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications

• Demonstrated experience as a CNC Setter / Operator.
• Experience with precision measurement instruments
• Ability to seamlessly interpret technical drawings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations
• Able to demonstrate excellent manufacturing practices
