Job summary

Wild Berry Associates is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in the UK. You will set and operate multi-tasking lathes to produce high-quality precision components and interpret engineering drawings.

Experience with 4-axis machines and Fanuc controls is essential. You will edit Fanuc programs, perform maintenance checks, ensure quality and traceability, and maintain a safe, clean workstation. Relocation support is available.

CNC Setter / Operator

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality precision components using CNC multi-tasking lathes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathes for small to medium batch production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspect components using measuring equipment.
• Edit Fanuc-based programs.
• Carry out machine maintenance checks.
• Complete quality and traceability documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.

About You

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of 4-axis CNC machines and Fanuc controls.

Desirable

• Twin spindle machine experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
• Aerospace or precision engineering experience.

Shift Pattern

• Week 1
• Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm
• Week 2
• Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm
• Friday, 2:00pm to 7:30pm
