Job description

CNC Machine Setter Operator sought by market leading manufacturer – the role involves early and late shift working pattern on a two week rotation: early shift is 6am-2pm Monday to Friday, the late shift Monday – Thursday 2pm-11 pm with a 6m finish on Fridays.

The CNC Machine Setter Operator will already be familiar with and experienced in the setting up of machines to start production cycles, controlling and adjusting machine settings and feeding raw material or parts to semi automated machines.

You will inspect parts with precision and measuring tools and test the operation of machines periodically, keeping records of approved and defective units or final products.

With proven experience as a CNC Machine Setter Operator / Programmer, it would be advantageous if you had Mazak experience – although full training will be provided if your experience has been acquired on different machines. You must be organized and methodical in your approach, a good communicator and someone who takes pride in their work.
