Job summary

Gi Group in Coventry is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join a high‑precision manufacturing team. The role focuses on setting and operating CNC turning machines, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring components meet tight tolerances.

You will work closely with engineering and quality teams, perform routine machine maintenance, monitor processes and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Milling skills are desirable for the role.

Qualifications

• CNC turning experience in a precision engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of tooling and machining processes.
• Desirable familiarity with CNC Milling.
• Proficient in setting and operating CNC lathes.

CNC Setter Operator

A manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator with strong CNC turning expertise. You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high‑precision components. Milling knowledge is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• CNC machine setting set and operate CNC turning machines from engineering drawings
• Precision quality control ensure components meet tight tolerances and quality standards
• Routine machine maintenance complete daily checks and basic maintenance

Requirements
