Job Opportunity: CNC Service Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Service Engineer to join a global, market-leading engineering business. You will be responsible for working on a wide range of CNC equipment, providing timely and efficient machine repairs, installations, and upgrades for customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair CNC Machines.
- Work to schedules to ensure customer demands are met.
- Provide customers with a first-class service.
- Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Proactively recommend necessary service and maintenance programmes.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of CNC machine tools and servicing/repair skills.
- Mechanical background with ability to handle electrical tasks as required.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and innovative to improve processes.
- Clear communication skills at all levels of the customer organization.
- Flexible approach to a varied workload.
Additional Benefits and Conditions:
- A company vehicle will be provided, covering all running costs related to business use. Private use is permitted with a Benefit in Kind tax liability.
- Pay rates include additional percentages for overtime: weekdays (+33% up to 2 hours/day, +50% beyond), Saturday (+50%), Sundays and holidays (+100%).
- Time for completing timesheets: 1 hour booked on Fridays.
- Expenses include hotel up to £120/night, evening meals up to £30/night, and lunch £9, all receipted. Car valeting at £6/week or £24/month receipted.
- Payment for work is door-to-door or hotel-to-door.
- Fuel card provided for business miles.
