Job summary

A leading supplier of machine tools is seeking a CNC Service Engineer to handle maintenance and service tasks across the Yorkshire and Lancashire regions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in machine tools, along with electrical skills, and will be responsible for customer training and technical support.

CNC Service Engineer - Machine Tools

38 hour week, salary to 50K

The role:

Working for a large and well established national machine tool supplier.

• Service, maintenance, breakdowns and installations
• Working on a large range of modern CNC machines, milling and turning machines & lathes throughout the region
• Mechanical and electrical servicing and repairs
• Covering Yorkshire & M62 corridor to Lancashire
• Provide technical support and customer training

Requirements:

• Machine tool experiences - essential - minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance-based or field service engineer role
• Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship level 3 Engineering
• Electrical skills are essential
• Willing to drive extensively
• Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
