Eximious Furniture in Hinckley, Leicestershire, is recruiting a CNC Joiner / Woodworking Programmer & Operator. The role focuses on woodworking/joinery with a strong emphasis on precision and quality finishes.

You will operate and program Biesse CNC machinery and interpret client specifications. Ideal candidates will have experience in bespoke joinery, knowledge of timber and solid surface materials, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC woodworking/joinery or furniture making.
• Experience with CNC machinery in woodworking/joinery industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and reading technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of timber, solid surface materials and finishing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in Joinery or CNC (woodworking) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machinery for bespoke timber furniture components.
• Produce components to exact specifications using AutoCAD.
• Interpret architectural drawings and client specifications.
• Maintain high standards of quality and finish.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver bespoke joinery solutions.

Salary: From £16.00 per hour (negotiable depending on skill and experience)

About the Role

At Eximious Furniture, we specialise in the design and manufacture of high-quality bespoke corporate furniture, tailored to each client's requirements. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced CNC Joiner / Woodworking Programmer & Operator to join our small, skilled, and friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in bespoke joinery or furniture making, who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and high-quality finishes.

Please note: This role is strictly woodworking/joinery. Candidates with experience in metal CNC machining, turning, or milling are not suitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program Biesse CNC machinery for bespoke timber and solid surface furniture components

• Ability to read and interpret technical and architectural drawings
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Joinery, Furniture Making, CNC Machining (woodworking), or equivalent experience
• Additional CAD programming training (advantageous, but not essential)
