Job summary

Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd in Stockport is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Support Project Engineer to support CNC machining operations and lead manufacturing engineering projects.

You will develop tooling and fixtures, drive continuous improvement, manage projects with Microsoft Project, and collaborate with production teams to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency. This is an on-site role with a salary up to £60k, 25 days holiday, and a 7% pension contribution.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and milling in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong tooling and fixture design capabilities.
• Project management experience and track record delivering manufacturing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across CNC machining operations, troubleshooting issues and improving processes.
• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, tooling and work-holding solutions to boost performance.
• Manage manufacturing engineering projects using Microsoft Project for planning, coordination and monitoring of activities (machinery installations and commissioning).
• Develop and maintain manufacturing SOPs and work instructions; train production operators.
• Collaborate with production teams, suppliers and contractors to drive continuous improvement and reduce costs.
