Based on-site, you will program and set up CNC milling machines, manufacture components from drawings, and perform self-inspections to ensure tolerances are met.

The role offers £37,000–£42,000 per annum, a 40-hour week with early finish on Friday, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinery.
• Proficiency with Siemens Shopmill and Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to interpret and work from detailed technical engineering drawings.
• Fusion 360 CAD/CAM experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently program and set up CNC milling machines in line with job specifications.
• Manufacture high-precision components directly from technical drawings.
• Perform thorough self-inspections to ensure all finished parts meet tight tolerances.
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs while preparing machinery based on works orders.
