Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is partnering with a precision manufacturing company near Cambridge to recruit a CNC Programmer/Setter (Hi-Tech/Automotive). The role offers up to £20 per hour plus overtime, training, progression, a company bonus, pension, Christmas shutdown and health insurance.

You will interpret drawings and program, set and operate CNC machinery including 5-axis work, ensuring high-quality parts for hi-tech and automotive customers.

Are you a CNC Programmer/Setter or similar looking to progress your career in a manufacturing company who use a range of modern CNC machinery to manufacture parts for a range of industries such as hi-tech and automotive?

In this role, the successful CNC Programmer/Setter or similar will be responsible for interpreting drawings, following the job from start to finish, working with a range of CNC machinery such as 5-axis sculpted & organic geometries to ensure that a high standard of work is maintained. The successful CNC Programmer/Setter or similar will be expected to work overtime throughout the week and occasionally on the weekends.

The ideal CNC Programmer/Setter or similar will have experience program setting and operating CNC machinery, being eager to learn and take on more work whilst progressing their career.
