Job summary

Cope Precision is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Machinist to join our small team in Worcester. You will take ownership of end-to-end manufacturing, from CAD/CAM design through programming on-line/off-line to the production of bespoke precision components.

The role requires strong experience with Heidenhain and Mazatrol milling and Fanuc turning, plus the ability to design and prove out fixtures for efficient, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing ONC/HNC or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience at shop floor level.
• CNC programming, setting, machining: Milling (Heidenhain & Mazatrol essential), Turning (Fanuc).
• Multiskilled machine operator with ability to work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end manufacturing capability from CAD/CAM design to programming (on-line and off-line) and manufacture of bespoke components.
• Design, make and prove out fixtures and jigs for efficient production of high-quality parts.
• Operate and set up multi-axis CNC machines and ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.
• Maintain health and safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
