Job summary

CRP Subsea is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to program, set and operate a Doosan lathe and CMS milling machine for subsea components. You will work from engineering drawings, select tools, and ensure quality with in-process inspections.

You will collaborate with Engineers and the Drawing Office to clarify methods, tolerances and design intent, and contribute to safe, efficient machining and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Fanuc and Power Mill control systems.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings and translate to machining steps.
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining best practices.
• High attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Minimum 3 years programming experience in a precision engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Program machines using Fanuc and Power Mill controls.
• Set, operate and adjust CNC machines to meet drawings and production targets.
• Inspect own work with measuring equipment and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to prioritise jobs and meet targets.
• Liaise with Engineers and Drawing Office on tolerances and design intent.
• Design and manufacture fixtures/work-holding for efficient processes.
• Select and manage cutting tools; coordinate with tooling suppliers.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final checks; escalate quality issues.
• Maintain machine uptime and support daily schedules; engage in safety culture.
