Job summary

KC Engineering Bearings Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join the production team in Consett. You will operate and program Mazak machines (Mazak 200Y/300Y/J300), turning and milling with tight tolerances to drawings and specs.

A time-served engineer with Mazak experience is essential. You will work to demanding deadlines, read drawings, and use metric/imperial measurements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Time-served CNC Turner with Mazak programming experience required.
Machining to drawing with tolerances around +/-0.1mm.
Final machining to drawing with tolerances of 0.02mm.
Experience turning/milling with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

Provide support in the CNC machine shop operating and programming Mazak controls (Mazak 200Y/300Y/J300).
Produce parts to drawings within pre-determined deadlines.
Work with both metric and imperial measurements and ensure quality tolerances.
