Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a qualified engineer to define and control production processes, tooling, and equipment. You will develop methods to support safety, delivery, and cost priorities, while expanding technical knowledge and understanding how your work connects with other teams.

The role emphasizes lean practices, participation in Kaizen events, NPI support, and CNC process optimization, with an expectation of on-site work in Bangor, ME.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of CNC experience; programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support SQDC priorities.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Understand business drivers and integrate with other teams.
• Use judgment to propose solutions with guidance.
• Act as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Support CNC processes.
