Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a manufacturing engineer to define and control production processes, tooling, and equipment for new products. The role emphasizes Lean practices, SQDC priorities, and NC/CAM programming experience.

You will develop methods, gain deep technical knowledge, and work cross-functionally to integrate work with other teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent experience, at least 1 year CNC experience, and must be able to work onsite in Bangor, Maine.

Qualifications

  • 1 year CNC experience minimum.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support the safety, delivery, delivery, cost (SQDC) priorities.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
  • Understand key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Regular participation in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
  • Support New Product Introduction.
  • Support CNC processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing or operations experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC experience

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
