Job summary

CV Technical Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a CNC operator/programmer to read detailed drawings and set up Doosan Lynx & Puma machines using Fanuc controls. The role involves editing CNC programs for feeds, speeds and tooling, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring quality per ISO 9001 standards.

You will also update work instruction sheets, perform self-inspection before first-off approval, uphold 5S practices, and follow all health and safety procedures in a clean, organized workshop

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Program Doosan Lynx & Puma CNC machines using Fanuc controls.
• Edit and optimise CNC programs (feeds, speeds, tooling adjustments).
• Maintain tight tolerances in line with specifications.
• Update and amend work instruction sheets.
• Manufacture components to ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Carry out self-inspection prior to first-off approval.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean working environment.
