CNC Programmer

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: Negotiable Depending on experience

Working Days: Monday - Friday, days

The company: Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known precision engineering company that specializes in manufacturing parts for industries such as motorsport, automotive, aerospace, and more. Due to significant expansion, the company is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their team on a Monday-Friday day shift. This role offers variety and opportunities for career progression within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

1. Machining parts based on engineering drawings and specifications
2. Programming offline using AlphaCam or Hypermill
3. Setting and operating 3, 4, & 5 Axis Milling machinery
4. Adhering to company health & safety procedures

Additional duties may be required beyond this list.

Skills and Experience required:

1. Experience in programming CNC machinery
2. Experience with 3, 4, & 5 axis machinery
3. Proficiency in Alphacam or Hypermill
4. Experience machining bespoke, smaller parts, and quality-driven products
5. Completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
