Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Remote CNC Programmer with strong expertise in Alphacam and 5-axis woodworking CNC machining. You will play a key role in our digital production workflow, turning technical drawings into optimized toolpaths for our machinery. Knowledge of Rhinoceros CAD is a plus.

After initial training on our machines, tools, and materials, you will work independently from your location to prepare the full CNC machining program (CAM) based on 3D models or drawings we provide.

Responsibilities:

• Program complex curved and multi-axis parts using Alphacam for 5-axis CNC woodworking machines
• Convert 2D/3D technical drawings into optimized and efficient toolpaths
• Incorporate machine-specific constraints, tooling, and material behavior
• Ensure programs meet quality, tolerances, and safety standards
• Provide feedback on design manufacturability when needed
• Support the team with remote troubleshooting and adjustments as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC programming, specifically for 5-axis woodworking applications
• Expert in Alphacam
• Good knowledge of Rhinoceros CAD (preferred but not mandatory)
• Deep understanding of machining wood, plywood, and laminated materials
• Experience with interpreting technical drawings and 3D models
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn about our specific tooling and machinery
• Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection
