Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for a CNC Press Brake Operator / Setter to join our well-established client in Tamworth, Kingsbury Link. This workshop-based role offers excellent hourly rates, weekly pay, paid breaks, and opportunities for permanent employment and career progression.

Role includes setting up and operating CNC press brake machinery, reading engineering drawings, fault resolution during setup, and maintaining product quality with regular inspections.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating and setting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confidence using hand tools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC press brake machinery to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Identifying and resolving faults during machine set-up in line with production requirements.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Following work instructions to ensure product quality and conformity.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting issues promptly.
• Ensuring sufficient raw materials are available to maintain productivity.
• Reporting defective machine parts promptly.
• Supporting other areas of the production workshop when required.
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times.
