Job summary

Paisley Site Services is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for our Teesside manufacturing team. The role involves safely operating CNC press brake, reading drawings, setting up tooling, and ensuring quality, with full-time permanent employment and shift work.

We provide full training, opportunities for development, and a proactive, safety-focused work environment. This position is based on site in Teesside and requires 18+ for health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or metal fabrication.
• CNC press brake experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC press brake and associated metal-forming machinery.
• Set and operate machinery to produce components to drawing specifications.
• Calculate and configure bend allowances for stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications.
• Load and unload materials and components safely and efficiently.
• Create, adjust and modify multi-fold CNC programmes.
• Select the correct punches, dies and tooling for each job.
• Use precision measuring equipment to check dimensions and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and health and safety.
• Identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement within the production process.
