Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator in Croydon to join a busy, long-standing engineering team. The role offers a competitive basic salary (£30,000–£35,000) with potential OTE (£60,000), overtime options, and an early Friday finish in a family-run environment.

You will work with sheet metal from flat stock, interpret technical drawings, and use CNC guillotines and press brakes.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience operating CNC press brakes and programming.
• Ability to manufacture products from flat sheet metal and follow drawings.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Calculating cutting sizes and selecting materials.
• Operating CNC guillotines, CNC press brakes and manual brake presses.
• Manufacturing and finishing sheet metal products from start to finish.
• Ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy during production.
• Keeping accurate records of produced parts.
