Job summary

Masstemps in Kidderminster is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operative to join a busy, well-established engineering team. You will set up, program and operate CNC press brake machines, read drawings, select tooling, inspect parts with calipers and gauges, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Working hours are Mon-Fri with pay up to £15 per hour. The role demands strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC press brake machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC press brake machines to produce components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges and protractors to ensure tolerances.
• Select appropriate tooling based on material, thickness and bend requirements.
• Maintain machines and keep workspace clean and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures and meet production targets.
