Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator (Setter/Operator) in Nottingham (near Beeston) for a permanent role. The shift is Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, 40 hours per week. Pay up to £16 per hour (£33,280 per annum) with overtime that can push earnings beyond £40k annually.

The ideal candidate will confidently set and operate Amada/Bystronic/Trumpf or similar presses, read engineering drawings, and select tooling to produce high-quality folded components to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role setting and operating CNC press brakes to produce high-quality components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate tooling.
• Experience with bending operations and maintaining tight tolerances across materials.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brakes.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure parts meet tolerances.
• Select tooling and adjust machine settings to optimise output.
