Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Fitter with a strong electrical bias to maintain CNC machinery and heavy plant at Lillie Bridge Depot, London. The role focuses on preventative and reactive maintenance to keep production equipment operational and minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates will have extensive CNC maintenance experience, fault diagnosis across electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the ability to work across three-phase electrical networks.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CNC machinery and heavy manufacturing plant.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills on three-phase systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on CNC machinery and heavy plant.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery and control systems.
• Identify faults in PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Work safely with three-phase electrical systems (400/415V).
• Undertake general plant maintenance across varied equipment.
• Support reliable operation of machinery used in railway track production.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain safe, efficient plant operations.
• Travel occasionally to the Long-Welded Rail Plant as required.
