Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd is seeking a reliable CNC Operator to set up and run CNC machinery processing aluminium components in our Norwich workshop. The role is a temporary position with a clear path to permanent employment, and you will be joining a team that values accuracy, safety, and efficient production.

You will load parts, input programmes, monitor quality, and keep a clean, safe work area while adhering to health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• CNC operating experience essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work from set programmes.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading aluminium parts onto the CNC machine.
• Selecting and inputting the correct programmes from an organised folder.
• Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring components are machined accurately and meet quality standards.
• Checking finished parts for defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Any other duties as required.

• Loading aluminium parts onto the CNC machine
• Selecting and inputting the correct programmes from an organised folder
• Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensuring components are machined accurately and meet quality standards
• Checking finished parts for defects or inconsistencies
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Any other duties as required

The ideal candidate:

• Previous CNC operating experience is essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and work from set programmes
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 until 16:00
