Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading aerospace company in Slough to recruit a Machine Operator. This role is a Monday to Friday dayshift with overtime possible, including occasional Saturday rates.

You will develop from operating machines to setting and eventually programming them, with full training provided. A technical engineering background and attention to detail are valued, and you should be a reliable team player.

Qualifications

• Engineering and/or technical awareness required.
• Knowledge of production procedures desirable.
• Good communication skills verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret job cards/diagrams to machine products per specification.
• Set up and operate machines following procedures and guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
